Jim Gnaster
Jim is thrilled to be a new member and loves sharing the stage with these inspired men and their commitment to musical excellence! His musical journey began in Park Ridge, IL with his love of playing the piano at the young age of 5. His singing career started in high school in musical productions, Concert Choir and Jazz Ensemble. He is an engineering graduate of The University of Illinois, but his true passion kept calling. What a thrill when the University Concert Choir performed back-up to Barry Manilow. Jim continued singing with Fourtune, an a cappella mixed voice quartet, for over 20 glorious years. During those years he has incredible memories singing for President and Mrs. Clinton’s Family Christmas at the White House, President G. H. Bush in Chicago, and truly impactful moments singing for senior citizens who had limited access to music. On to Barbershop, where he sang with the135 voice New Tradition Chorus from Northbrook, IL. In 2001, Jim received a special 40th year Birthday gift, when they won the International Gold Medal! Jim is a tennis fanatic, and also a member of the Modern Men Coachella Valley Chorus. We are truly grateful he is sharing his time and talents with us.
